The University WiFi

The term WiFi (Wireless Fidelity) applies to devices that allow connection to wireless local area  networks (WLANs). A notebook, a smartphone or a tablet enabled for wireless connection (equipped with an antenna and WiFi software) can connect to the Internet and use the online services offered by the University. The areas covered by the service display the official WiFi Zone mark, which certifies compatibility with the IEEE 802.11 standards established by the WiFi Alliance consortium.

UniTO WiFi service, provided through over 1500 APs (Access Points), is made up of the following  networks (commonly called SSID).
