Scholarships for international students
The University of Turin funds 15 two-year scholarships to international students willing to enrol in the first year of a second cycle degree, a.y. 2018-2019.
To be considered an international student you need:
- to hold a valid qualification providing access to a Master’s degree programme obtained outside the Italian education system
- not to have Italian citizenship.
Applications will be evaluated on the basis of the GRE (Revised General Test) test results. If you do not hold a GRE score report, you cannot apply for this scholarship.

Applications close on Monday April 30th, 2018, 3.00 p.m. (Central European Time).
Each scholarship amounts to 9,000 euros per year, gross of all charges for the beneficiary’s account. The awarding of 9,000 euros for the second year is subject to the achievement of academic merit requirements. Academic merit requirements will be published through an advice on the present webpage.
Such scholarship cannot be cumulated with study grants issued under the Erasmus Mundus and Erasmus Plus programme - EMJMD, study grants issued by the Italian Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ministry (MAECI).
Not eligible applicants:
- students enrolling in any academic year beyond the first
- students changing programmes within those offered by the University of Turin
- students transferring from another university
- students applying for academic transfer of credits.
In order to be admitted and enrol in the chosen programme, non-EU students residing abroad must respect VISA procedures and deadlines concerning the access of foreign students to Italian university courses set in the Regulations issued by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR).

The Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation awards scholarships for studying in Italy both to foreign citizens and to Italian citizens living abroad (IRE) for the academic year 2018-2019. The aim of these scholarships is to foster international cultural cooperation, spread the knowledge of the Italian language, culture and science, as well as promote the Italian economic and technological system throughout the world.
Scholarships are offered to carry out study, training and research projects in Italian Higher Education Institutes (State-owned institutions or institutions legally recognized by the relevant State authorities).
All online applications must be submitted by 2 pm (Italian time) on April 30, 2018.

The Italian Ministry of Interior and the Conference of the Rectors of Italian Universities (CRUI), in cooperation with ANDISU (National Association of Organizations for Studying Rights), offer 100 scholarships to students refugees or with international protection.

The University of Turin is partner of the Peruvian National Program for Scholarships and Educational Loans (PRONABEC). PRONABEC offers international postgraduate scholarships "Becas Presidente de la República" for Peruvian citizens residing in Peru. Scholarships will be available for full-time masters programs and PhD programs. Full details of the scholarship programme can be found through the PRONABEC website.
