Right to education

The University of Turin promotes the right to education, to foster the access and attendance to university studies in favour of capable and worthy students although without economic means, ensuring financial support.

Tuition fees: exemptions and refunds

The University student contribution model provides exemptions and refunds based on the ISEE value, the indicator of the equivalent economic situation, which measures the economic condition of the family unit.

Scholarships awarded by EDISU Piemonte

EDISU Piemonte, Regional Agency for the Right to Education of Piedmont, awards scholarships to students who are enrolled in a Piedmontese University and meet the economic and merit requirements specified. 

Grants and study awards

The University of Turin, in order to commend worthy students, promotes grants and study awards, which are both managed by the University and offered by external public and private groups and companies.

Part time collaborations

Each year, the University offers its students the opportunity to work part time for its various administrative structures, for a maximum of 200 hours per short-listed student per academic year.

UniTo's response to the international Ukrainian crisis for Ukrainian and international students

In order to welcome Ukrainian students, professors and researchers and guarantee the right to education to Ukrainian and international students enrolled in degree programs of the University facing financial difficulties due to the Ukrainian international crisis, the University of Turin promotes a set of actions, in compliance with the decisions made by the Academic Senate and the Board of Governors on 29 and 31 March 2022.
