Enrolment for international students
Academic year 2025-2026
The enrolment deadline for all non-EU students who were admitted for the a.y. 2025–26 but are experiencing difficulties in obtaining a study visa has been postponed to May 25th, 2026. Read more details below.
Before enrolling, make sure you have completed all the required procedures and that you have all the necessary documentation.
In order to enrol, you need to create a MyUniTo account as a prospective student. You can follow the instructions. Once logged in, update your personal data.

undergraduate and 5-6 year postgraduate degree courses with free admission
Non-EU students who have already been admitted to the first year of studies and have correctly followed all enrollment procedures, but are experiencing difficulties in obtaining a study visa, can enrol by 25th May 2026 at 3:00 pm (Italian time).As soon as you arrive in Italy, contact us by email at [email protected] and send us a copy of:
- long-term Italian study visa (Type D) issued for the a.y. 25-26
- residence permit request
- official fiscal code issued by the embassy or by the Italian office Agenzie delle Entrate
- complete study documentation (including proof of authenticity).
Subsequently, we will provide you with information on how to pay the first tuition instalment.
- undergraduate degrees with a restricted number of places
- 5 or 6-year postgraduate degrees with a restricted number of places: information is being updated and will be published in the dedicated page as soon as available
- postgraduate degree programs with free admission
Besides following the procedure indicated in the relevant page within the given deadlines, you must also fill in the Postgraduate enrolment form a.y. 2025-2026 - postgraduate degrees with a restricted number of place.
TOLC Test
If the program you chose requires a TOLC test for admission, when registering make sure that your fiscal code (codice fiscale) is displayed on your TOLC results sheet, verify its correctness and that it is the same as on your MyUniTo account. You can check the fiscal code on your account by logging in your MyUniTo, click on Iscrizioni (Enrollments) in the upper left menu and then on the item Dati anagrafici (Personal data).
- If your fiscal code is not shown on your TOLC results sheet and you don’t have your official fiscal code yet, you must contact CISIA help desk and provide your passport data and the fiscal code as shown on your MyUniTo.
- If the fiscal code shown on your TOLC result sheet is wrong, you must contact CISIA help desk and provide your passport data and the correct fiscal code.
- If the fiscal code shown on your MyUniTo is not correct, you must contact [email protected].
Non-EU citizens residing abroad must be in possession of a study visa and receipt of the residence permit application in order to enrol.
Residence permit (only for non-EU students residing abroad)
Non-EU students residing abroad must apply for a residence permit within 8 working days after entering Italy. For more information and assistance, please see the page Residence permit and stay requirements.
Tax identification code
It can be issued by the competent Italian diplomatic-consular authority or once in Italy, it can be issued by one of the local offices of the Agenzia delle Entrate. Once in Italy, you can apply for the tax code by contacting [email protected].
