For those enrolled from the 2008-2009 academic year onwards, the credentials are:
- Username: name.surname or name.surnamexyz (in cases of homonymy)

For security reasons, it is mandatory to change your password every 6 months.
Those who are already enrolled at the University of Turin and wish to enrol in a new degree course, in years following the first, in a postgraduate degree or in a doctorate course, must use the credentials they already have.
To retrieve their credentials please fill out the form for requests for support and information or call the toll-free number 800 098590 (from Monday to Friday from 8.00 a.m to 8.00 p.m - Saturdays from 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m., only from Italian phones), as indicated in the Help and support web page.
The webmail service of the University of Turin is outsourced to Google Workspace for Education Plus and the benefits include:
- each user will have a total of 50GB for all services provided on their account (Gmail, Drive, etc.)
- new collaboration tools including Google Drive and Calendar
- improved smartphones and tablet compatibility
- a new email account as follows: [email protected]. Please note that “UsernameStudente” is the username you enter to access the online services.
With your credentials you can also access the WiFi service, designed to guarantee the highest level of protection, in terms of authenticity of authorisations and access guarantees, integrity of messages and protection of personal data.
For permanent use of the service at university sites where there is coverage, we recommend using the Eduroam network. If, on the other hand, you need to connect to the network occasionally, we suggest you use Unito-WiFi. For more details on how to access the WiFi network and instructions for access configurations, please consult the page dedicated to the service.
The user is responsible for the preservation and secrecy of the authentication credentials (the credentials are strictly personal and must be guarded with care similar to the PIN code of a cash machine).
The user undertakes to immediately notify the University of Turin of any unauthorised use of his/her user identification (username) and password or any other breach of security of which he/she becomes aware.
