Teaching provisions and timetable

The academic year 2023-2024 starts on October 1st 2023 and ends on September 30th 2024.

Buddy project

Thanks to the Buddy project, you can be supported by an Italian student enrolled at UniTo who will guide you through the administrative procedures in the University offices, the main University facilities and buildings, UniTO website, housing.

 

You will be contacted directly by a buddy after the enrolment. Once in Italy, you will be able to meet the buddy and start your experience at UniTo. Getting in a touch with a buddy will help you settle much easier into your new life in Turin.

Tuition fees for international students

You can request the reduction of the students’contribution following one of the following options:

  • by requesting the University to calculate the full-comprehensive contribution according to your Country’s GDP – Gross Domestic Product
  • by requesting the "ISEE parificato"

Italian language courses

The University of Turin offers Italian language classes for international students enrolled in degree programs fully taught in English.

 

Students are divided based on their starting level, including absolute beginners.

 

Those courses are organized in collaboration with Centro Linguistico di Ateneo CLA, our university language center. Visit CLA website for more information.

Residence permit

Non-EU students residing abroad must apply for a residence permit within 8 working days after entering Italy. For more information and assistance, please see the webpage Residence permit.

Passi@uniTo

Passi@UniTo is a psychological counseling service aiming at listening and understanding practical and emotional difficulties that students may face during their stay in Turin.

 

You can make an appointment by emailing the counseling team at Passi@UniTo and specifying your name and surname, nationality and phone number.

 

The service is free and is available in Italian and in the following foreign languages: English, French, Chinese, Urdu, Hindi.

Part time collaborations

Each year, the University offers its students the opportunity to work part time for its various administrative structures, for a maximum of 200 hours per short-listed student per academic year.
