During your stay
The first place to visit once you arrive in Turin isthe InfoPoint office, where you can:
- register your arrival at UniTo and update your status as Erasmus/international exchange student
- get your home University documents signed, i.e., certificate of arrival
- get your MyUniTo account activated (see the instructions for incoming Erasmus and exchange students).
Exchange periods can last a maximum of 12 months in total. It is not possible to obtain an extension from the spring semester to cover the following winter semester in the new academic year.
Extension is mandatory to take exams after the official ending of the exchange period, i.e. beyond the number of months confirmed at the time of nomination. This extension can last until maximum 30th September.
If you want to extend your exchange period you need to:
- contact your home University and get their approval first
- contact the exchange coordinator at UniTo and get their approval
- provide via email to [email protected] both communications of approval at least one month before the end of your original exchange
- specify in your email the number of additional months and the new end date of your exchange. This allows us to renew your access to UniTo services.
Before going back home it is mandatory to:
- fill in the End of Mobility form
- go to the InfoPoint to sign your home University documents (End of Mobility Certificate/Departure Certificate/Certificate of Stay/Confirmation of attendance). This document is provided by your home University
- have your Learning Agreement signed by all parties.
These steps allow us to issue your Transcript of records and confirm your exchange to your home University.
