UniTo for scholars and students at risk
UniTo promotes academic freedom and the right to study by launching projects for researchers and students who find themselves at geo-political risk.
Since 2021 the University has been a member of the SAR - Scholars at Risk network and since 2020 it has invested strength and energy in supporting the academic communities involved in the Afghan and Ukrainian crises.
In particular, UniTo has published calls for students and grants for researchers at risk in their country of residence to allow them to continue their academic studies.
In addition, UniTo belongs to UNICORE – the Corridoi Universitari project, which hosts refugee students so that they can continue their master's degree courses.
