Entering UniTo for students with SLD

In order to enrol in a degree of the University of Turin, you must take an entrance exam (TARM or admission exam).

If you possess a certificate of SLD, you can request extra aids and/or time, following the indications and criteria of validity, displayed on the Required certification from students with SLD webpage.

If you possess a non-recent certification of SLD, your requests of extra aids and/or time for the tests will be evaluated in accordance with the Ministerial Directives. In case of acceptance, it will be asked during the first academic year to provide a valid certificate.

The certifications of SEN (Special Educational Needs) when they do not present any SLD, do not allow, instead, the requirement of supports because they are not recognised by the current regulations related to the university path.

If you are a candidate possessing a certification of SLD from an EU or non-EU country and who is resident abroad, and want to benefit from the personal aids, you must present the legal document released by the foreign country of residence. The document must present the diagnosis recognised by the Italian regulations. The certifications released in a foreign language must be presented with a legal translation into Italian or English, or the certifications can be certified by the Italian diplomatic representatives.

The competent organs of the University will verify that the provided documents are suitable in order to require the available aids.

In order to better plan your entrance in the UniTo  and require the additional information, you can send an email to [email protected].
