Entering UniTo for students with disability

In order to enrol at University of Turin, you must take an entrance exam (TARM or admission exam).

If you have a certificate of invalidity (higher than or equal to 50%) or a certificate of disability, you can request extra aids and/or time, following the indications and criteria of validity, displayed on the Required certification for students with disability webpage.

If you have no recent certification of invalidity and/or disability, your requests of extra aids and/or time for the tests will be evaluated in accordance with the Ministerial Directives. In case of acceptance, it will be asked during the first academic year to provide a valid certificate.

The certifications of SEN (Special Educational Needs), if they do not indicate any SLD, do not allow, instead, the requirement of supports because they are not recognized by the current regulations.

If you are a candidate holding a certification with disability of an EU or non-EU country residing abroad and you want to benefit from the personal aid, you must submit the legal document issued by the foreign country of residence. The document must indicate the diagnosis recognized by Italian regulations. The certifications issued in a foreign language must be submitted with a legal translation into Italian or English certified by the Italian diplomatic representatives.

The related bodies of the University will verify that the documents are suitable in order to require the available aid.

In order to better plan your entrance at UniTo and require the additional information, you can send an email to [email protected].
