INNOUNITA

INNOUNITA - INNOvation capacity building in UNITA - was funded to the UNITA – Universitas Montium  Alliance as part of the HEI Initiative - Innovation Capacity Building for Higher Education, promoted by the European Institute of Innovation and Technologies (EIT) and led by KICK Raw Material.

The project is coordinated by UniTo and aims to enhance the innovation and entrepreneurship capacities of the UNITA Alliance through the sharing of good practices and the development of a common model of capacity building, which allows professors, students and administrative staff to develop skills in this area. Through INNOUNITA partners will be able to share the experiences and approaches developed by each University to promote and support innovation and entrepreneurship within their academic community, in order to develop a common ground to increase the entrepreneurial mindset and strengthen the role of universities in the innovation ecosystem. The impact of this project will also be pivotal in terms of enhancing talent in RIS regions (Regions with low or moderate levels of innovation, according to the European Innovation Scoreboard), helping to bridge the gap in scientific, entrepreneurial and managerial skills and enabling students to perform complex multidisciplinary tasks and to have access to different opportunities to create innovation.

The project, which started in July 2021, will run for 2 years.
