Re-UNITA - Research for UNITA
The European project Re-UNITA - Research for UNITA - was funded to the UNITA – Universitas Montium University Alliance under the Science With and For Society Programme of Horizon 2020. It is coordinated by Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adoure.
Re-UNITA aims to transform the UNITA Alliance into a primary actor in the creation of the European Research Area, through strategic and transformative actions such as in particular:
- the development of a common research and innovation agenda around the three themes of UNITA research - cultural heritage, renewable energy and circular economy
- the enhancement of the human capital of the Alliance in order to make UNITA a highly attractive environment for research talents
- the sharing of the scientific infrastructures of the six universities, the strengthening of dialogue and cooperation with non-academic actors - including citizens and civil society, the transfer of knowledge and the implementation of Open Science principles as a common policy of the Alliance.
The project officially starts on 1st September 2021 and will run for 3 years.
