Application for international students - a.y. 2021-2022
If you hold a qualification issued by a non-Italian High School or University and you wish to apply for an undergraduate, postgraduate, 5-year or 6-year degree program, you have to submit the online application procedure Apply@Unito. This procedure is mandatory and has to be submitted by paying the required fee (€15) within the deadlines established for the academic year of your reference.
Only if you hold international protection as well as a qualification issued by a non-Italian High School or University, you do not have to send the online application and you are granted exemption from the application fee.
The calendar to submit your online application is the following:
- Who can apply: all applicants, including non-EU candidates residing abroad
- Degree programs you can apply for: all degree programs (undergraduate, postgraduate, 5/6-year postgraduate degree programs)
Who can apply:
- EU applicants, including Italian citizens holding a foreign qualification;
- applicants from Norway, Iceland, Lichtenstein and the Swiss Confederation, Republic of San Marino, Holy See (“applicants with European equivalent status”);
- non-EU applicants legally residing in Italy and holding a valid residence permit for the enrolment. Contact the Residence Permit Office to verify if the kind of residence permit you hold grants you access to the enrolment at the University of Turin

If you hold a foreign degree and wish to apply to obtain the corresponding Italian degree, learn how to apply:
- Italian citizens, EU citizens and non-EU citizen legally residing in Italy holding a valid residence permit can apply for the recognition of their foreign degrees at the International Students Desk by submitting a recognition request from January 12th 2021 to April 28th 2021 inclusive via the dedicated online procedure
- Non-EU citizens residing abroad can apply for the recognition from January 12th 2021 to April 28th 2021 inclusive through the competent Italian Embassy/Consulate in the country where the foreign degree was obtained.
