3rd edition of the International School on Water Reuse
The third edition of the International School on Water Reuse will be held at the Department of Biotechnology (via Nizza 52 - Torino) from 9th to 11th September 2024. It is the first international school on water reuse, with speakers from universities, water utilities, international institutions, visits to urban wastewater treatment plants and discussion of real case studies.
The school takes place in presence, in English.
The topic of water scarcity and water reuse as a possible tool to address it is addressed with a multidisciplinary approach.
Participants are given the opportunity to acquire knowledge in the regulatory, chemical-biological, technological, socio-economic fields which, together with the discussion of real cases and a visit to a water treatment plant, allow an articulated view of the theme of water reuse, in all its complexity.
The lectures are complemented by round table discussions and a poster session where participants can make their own contribution on the topic of water management, water scarcity and water reuse.
The school is aimed at all those in academia, business, agriculture and institutions who deal with water resources issues.
In the academic sphere it is mainly aimed at PhD students and young researchers.
