Nomination and application
To be able to spend an exchange mobility period at the University of Turin (as an Erasmus+ or International exchange student) your home university must have an active bilateral agreement with Unito in the subject area of your studies. Your home university must nominate you officially for an exchange place under the terms of this agreement (e.g.: total number of students, months of mobility, study level, etc…). Instructions will be provided via email to all partners.
Nomination period for partner University (not students) are:
- Winter semester/full year: mid-February - 15th June each year
- Spring semester: mid-February - 15th November each year.
Exchange students are assigned to a specific host Department with which UniTo and our partner university have an agreement. Exchange students can choose courses from the host Department/Hub (Polo) to which they are assigned but it is also possible to choose some courses provided by other Departments/Hub (Polo). However, some restrictions may apply, so partners and students are advised to read the Nomination requirements document.
Italian or English are the main language of instruction. Language proficiency certificates are not required for admission. However, to be able to carry out the exchange efficiently it is strongly recommended to command the English/Italian language at a minimum of B2 level using the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages scale (CEFR).
