Erasmus+ Partner Countries - KA171

Erasmus+ Partner countries KA 171 scholarship is primarily finalised to obtain academic credits abroad and it is awarded for full time activities (study, traineeship, preparation of final dissertation). Erasmus+ KA 171 allows students to live challenging cultural experiences in EU Countries, to familiarise with new Higher Education Systems, to improve the knowledge of at least one EU Country language, to meet foreign people, while participating actively in the internationalisation process of Higher Education Institutions involved and of their own academic curriculum.

 

Every year, through a specific call, the best projects in Europe are selected and granted.

 

Erasmus+ Partner Countries - KA171 - allows students from Partner Countries to spend a mobility period at the University of Turin in the frame of selected projects for international credit mobility, see the list below.

 

Financial support and duration

The programme provides participants with financial support which consists of:

  • 850, 00 per month as "individual support"
  • € 250,00 una tantum as an "Extra UniTo contribution" for administrative expenses (such as visa cost, residence permit, medical insurance, …)
  • Travel Grant Standard according to EU Commission distance band.

In addition, the participant, if she/he has been selected as student with "fewer opportunities" by her/his home University, shall receive an additional top-up fewer opportunities contribution from Erasmus+ EU funds for the mobility period corresponding to € 250,00 per month. The amount of the Erasmus+ grant will be transferred in full, after the subscription of the Grant Agreement.

 

Students can participate to more than one mobility experience in the frame of Erasmus+ Programme and receive an Erasmus+ scholarship for a minimum of 2 months (60 days) and a maximum of 12 months per study cycle; 24 months for students enrolled in a 5-year or 6-year postgraduate program.During the Erasmus+ mobility, which must be continued and without interruptions, it’s not possible to take exams at the home University.

 

Home universities issue a specific call for each project. Incoming students are selected by home universities: for details about selection criteria contact your home university relevant office.

 

Erasmus+ scholarship cannot be cumulated with study grants issued by the EU Commission, EDISU Piemonte and by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI).

The minimum duration of the mobility period is 2 months (60 days). The mobility period shall be concluded by 31st July 2025.
