Where can I find the documents requested?

Please read the list of documents required.

I cannot graduate in time for the application. Can I apply?

Yes. If you have not graduated yet please attach:

  • official certificate attesting your enrollment in the last year of studies and the kind of curriculum you are attending and the name of the study qualification you will obtain
  • official score report of the academic year/semesters so far attended.

The final documentation must be provided as soon as it is issued and before the enrollment

Can I apply with an unofficial transcript of records?

No, you must provide an official transcript of records, issued by your school/university provided with signature and seal.

Can I apply with an IB diploma?

If I do my fourth year of high school abroad and get my diploma there, can I return to Italy and enroll directly in the university without doing my fifth year of high school in Italy?

No, degrees belonging to foreign systems whose curriculum is of at least 12 years duration allow continuation of studies in Italian higher education only if they have been obtained on the basis of at least the last two years of successful attendance in the foreign educational system.  To prove the years attended you are required to attach your score report.

What are the required documents to send my pre-enrolment application on universitaly?

You need to verify directly with the Italian embassy/consulate you selected in your pre-enrolment application the correct procedure and necessary documents to apply for your study Visa. The University of Turin required the following documentation:

All study documents uploaded in your online application are accepted in Italian, English, French or Spanish. If your documents are not issued in one of these languages, you also have to attach a certified translation in either Italian, English, French or Spanish.

Do I have to provide you with proof of the authenticity of my study documents?

Yes, you have to. In order to enrol, the International students office will need to verify the authenticity of your study documents. On Apply@UniTo you will find more information on the accepted verification systems, along with a few examples of verification methods specific to some Countries and school/academic systems. In order to speed up the following enrolment procedure, we suggest you provide our office with proof of authenticity of your study documentation during the application phase (if already available). If you haven’t completed your studies yet and thus won’t be able to get the required study qualification within the application deadlines, you will be requested to upload:

  • an official certificate confirming your enrollment in the last year of studies
  • an official score report of the academic years/semesters so far attended.

Applications sent must be complete of all the documentation required. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

Is the Declaration of Value (DOV) mandatory?

It is not compulsory, but it can be requested in case the admission commission needs more information to assess the eligibility of your title.

Do I need an English/ Italian certificate in order to be admitted to UniTo?

It depends on the degree program you have chosen. For instance, in some cases an English certificate and a score can be specifically requested, in others the language knowledge will be verified during an interview or a test. Is Duolingo certification accepted?

No, if the certification you hold is not on the list of English language certifications required by your degree program, it means that is not accepted.
