Courses with a restricted number of places and with national classification list

Information for the academic year 2018-2019 is currently being updated.

 

Available on the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research website the deadlines for one-long cycle degree programmes with a national and restricted number of places for the academic year 2018-2019.

Consulting announcements of competition

For one-long cycle degree programmes with a national and restricted number of places (Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Orthodontics, Veterinary Medicine), you need to refer to deadlines and modalities, as foreseen in each announcement of competition.

Modalities to register for the admission test

In order to participate to the admission test:

  1. Read the directions contained in the ministerial decrees for admission to announcement of competition where you can find all the necessary information for the admission test, paying particular attention to the procedures to be carried out on the Universitaly web portal.

     

  2. Register online on the Universitaly web portal.

     

  3. Register at the University Portal and get your credentials (username and password) to access the matriculation procedure. Read the instructions for registering. If you have previously registered at UniTO and you have already the access credentials, you do not need to do another registration: in case you forgot your credentials please contact the toll free number 800 098590 (from Monday to Friday from 8.00 a.m to 8.00 p.m - Saturdays from 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m., only from Italian phones) or get them through the service (“Password retrieval”).
     
  4. Register online for the announcement of competition on the Universitaly web portal: log in to the University Portal (by selecting “Login” in the upper right box) and authenticate with your credentials (username and password), obtained after the registration at the portal. After authenticating, select the item “Iscrizioni” in the upper left menu and afterwards the item “Test di ammissione” (Admission Test) to go on with filling in the on-line application.

    During the procedure of registration for the admission test, you will be required to also select the administrative category among:

    • Italian EU/ legally residing non-EU citizens, reserved places for EU and non-EU students according to Law 30 July 2002, n. 189, art. 26
    • Non-EU citizens not legally residing, reserved places for non-EU students not included in the Law 30 July 2002, n. 189, art. 26
    • Chinese students of Marco Polo Project, reserved places for Chinese students participating in Marco Polo Project.

      Students with disability may apply, while registering, for the admission test for specific aids during the admission test and/or additional time (50% more). For this reason, you must upload, in pdf format, medical documentation attesting the invalidity/disability (unabridged text, not obliterated text). For details consult the relative webpage.

    • Disabled students

      Students with specific learning disability (SLD) may apply, while registering for the admission test, for additional time equal to 30% to sit the exam. For this reason, you must upload, in pdf format, documentation attesting the diagnosis specific learning disability.     • Students with specific learning disability
      Students with disability or specific learning disability, residing abroad, must submit the certification attesting the disability grade or specific learning disability issued by the country of residence, along with a certified translation in Italian or English language.

       

  5. At the end of the registration for the admission test procedure, print out the memo and the payment slip to pay the admission test fee.

     

  6. MAV slip of the admission test fee must be paid within the deadlines; the payment receipt should be shown on the admission test day, so please keep it scrupulously.

 

On the website of the M.I.U.R (Ministry of Education, University and Research) you can find the publication of dates for the admission tests for courses with a national restricted number of places for the academic year 2018-2019 and modalities to carry out the admission tests (Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Orthodontics, Veterinary Medicine).

 

Modalities for matriculation

In order to matriculate to a degree course with a restricted number of places  and a national classification list, please consult the instructions or see the following directions:

  1. Check on the Universitaly Portal the results of the admission test; classification lists will be published on the date foreseen by the announcement of competition.
     
  2. If your status on the classification list as published on the Universitaly Portal is “Assegnato” (i.e. Assigned) or “Prenotato” (i.e. Booked) to the University of Torino and you have taken the admission test in Torino, then you must submit the enrolment application no later than the deadline set by the announcement of competition relative to your course. To view the announcement of competition, log in to your private MyUniTO area, then under the menu Iscrizioni (i.e. Enrolment) select “Test di Ammissione” (i.e. Admission Test).
     
  3. Fill in the enrolment application form: log in to the University Portal (by selecting “Login” on the home-page, in the upper right box) and authenticate with your credentials (username and password), obtained after the registration at the portal. After authenticating, select the item “Iscrizioni” (Enrolment) in the upper left menu and afterwards the item “Immatricolazione” (Matriculation) to go on with filling in the on-line application.

    During the filling in of the on-line application procedure, you will be asked to upload the following documents:

    • one photo, which will be printed on your smart card (see photo technical requirements);
    • photocopy of a valid identification document;
    • photocopy of your tax identification code (codice fiscale).

    Photo technical details
    The photo size must be 35x40mm. You must use photo for documents (as identification document or driving licence) that shows your face on a light background. The photo must be in bitmap or jpeg format with a resolution at least of 300x400 pixel at least.

    Not admitted photo:

    • panoramic photo, taken from distance, with backs turned or where the face is only partially visible;
    • photo with you and another person together;
    • drawing or caricature;
    • photo of another person
       
  4. Print out the matriculation application form and the MAV slip for the payment of the tuition fees.
     
  5. Pay the first instalment of the tuition fees within the deadline foreseen by the announcement of competition. 

    The payment must be done compulsorily within 4 p.m. of the deadline (otherwise you lose the place); after this expiration hour the payment will be dated as the following day, therefore after the allowed deadline of the confirmation of the matriculation. In fact, the confirmation of the place is done by the payment of the tuition fees within the foreseen deadline.
     

  6. Upload the following documents within the deadlines foreseen by each announcement of competition:
    • matriculation application form, duly filled out and signed;
    • receipt of the tuition fees payment
    • vaccine certificate and proof certificate of tubercolin test (Mantoux test). In case you do not hold such certificates at the time of matriculation, you will be asked to bind yourself by signing an affidavit (available on the 'modulistica' set of forms section) to submit these documents to the students' office no later than 30 days after matriculation.To upload the documents log in to your MyUniTO area, then under the menu Iscrizione (Enrolment) select the item Allegati (Attachments).
       
  7. Collect your smart card: if you do not have the smart card issued by the University of Turin yet, you will receive the collecting details by email at the student's email address assigned to you at the time of matriculation; if you already hold a smart card, update it making an appointment with Smart Card Office. Contacts are provided on the relative webpage (Italian version).

     

    Failing to collect your smart card within 3 months after matriculation will prevent you from accessing the  University's on-line services (such as drawing up the career plan, signing up for exams, student's e-mail and WiFi access etc).

Modalities for matriculation for students “Assigned” or “Reserved” to the University of Torino but who have not taken the admission test in Torino

(For one-long cycle degree programmes like Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Orthodontics, Veterinary Medicine)

 

 

If your status on the classification list on the Universitaly Portal is “Assegnato” (i.e. Assigned) or “Prenotato” (i.e. Reserved) to the University of Turin but you have not taken the admission test in Turin and you want to enrol at University of Turin within the deadlines set by the announcement of competition, then you must go through the following procedure.

  1. Register at Unito.it Portal

For the instructions on how to register on the university website, please check the instructions.

 

2)  Register for the admission test “Reserved for candidates who have taken admissiom test in other universities”: log in to the University Portal (by selecting “Login” on the home-page, in the upper right box) and authenticate with your credentials (username and password), obtained after the registration at the portal. After authenticating, select the item “Iscrizioni” (Enrolment) in the upper left menu and afterwards the item “Test di Ammissione” (Admission test) to go on with filling in the on-line application.

 

3) Go on with the matriculation application following the procedure as described in the paragraph “Modalities for matriculation”. For detailed information please consult the instructions.

Modalities for matriculation for EU students "assegnati" or "prenotati" at UniTO (Medicine and Surgery - English version)

(For one-long cycle degree programmes like Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Orthodontics, Veterinary Medicine)

 

If your status on the classification list as published on the Universitaly Portal is “assegnato” (i.e. Assigned) or “prenotato” (i.e. Booked) to the University of Torino and you want to enrol at University of Torino within the deadlines fixed by the announcement of competition, then you must go through the following procedure.

 

1) Register at Unito.it Portal: for the instructions on how to register on the university website, please check the instructions.

 

2) Register for the admission test “One-long cycle degree programme in Medicine and Surgery (Laurea Magistrale Ciclo Unico 6 anni in Medicine and Surgery)”: log in to the University Portal (by selecting “Login” in the upper right box) and authenticate with your credentials (username and password), obtained after the registration at the portal. After authenticating, select the item “Iscrizioni” (Enrolment) in the upper left menu and afterwards the item “Test di Ammissione” (Admission test) to go on with filling in the on-line application.

 

3) Go on with the matriculation application following the procedure as described in the paragraph “Modalities for matriculation”. 

Applicants, EU citizens and NON-EU citizens legally residing in Italy, holding a valid qualification obtained abroad, who are assegnati to one course of the University of Torino, must access the on-line procedure, fill in the required data and go to Mobility and International Didactics Office - International Students Desk  to get the relating MAV and handing out the following documentation within the deadlines set by the announcement of competition:

  • authenticated copy of your upper school leaving qualification, obtained after at least 12 years of education, that enables to study at University in the country of issuing and allows the access in a similar course in Italy; translated and legalized (if foreseen), along with one of the following declarations:
  • declaration of equal value (dichiarazione di valore), issued at the Italian Embassy or Consulate, where the qualification was obtained
  • statement of comparability issued at ENIC-NARIC centres (if available): for detailed information please consult the link of Cimea/ ENIC-NARIC centres

 

Documentation must be handed out within and no later then the above-mentioned deadlines.

If you can not go personally to the office, applicants holding a valid qualification obtained abroad, can delegate another person by a written proxy, along with the photocopy of an identity document of the delegate and the delegator and photocopy of the tax identification number (codice fiscale) of the delegator.

Modalities for matriculation

In order to matriculate to a degree course with a restricted number of places and a national classification list, please consult the instructions (Italian version) or read the following directions.

 

1) Check on the Universitaly Portal the results of the admission test; classification lists will be published on the date foreseen by the announcement of competition.

 

2) If your status on the classification list as published on the Universitaly Portal is “assegnato” (i.e. Assigned) or “prenotato” (i.e. Booked) to the University of Torino, then you must submit the enrolment application no lather than the deadline set by the announcement of competition relative to your course, that you can see also in your private MyUniTO area,  under the menu Iscrizioni (i.e. Enrolment) select “Test di Ammissione” (i.e. Admission Test).

 

3) Fill in the enrolment application form: log in to the University Portal (by selecting “Login” on the home-page, in the upper right box) and authenticate with your credentials (username and password), obtained after the registration at the portal. After authenticating, select the item “Iscrizioni” (Enrolment) in the upper left menu and afterwards the item “Immatricolazione” (Matriculation) to go on with filling in the on-line application.

During the filling in of the online application procedure, you will be asked to upload the following documents:

  • one photo, which will be printed on your smart card (see photo technical requirements)
  • photocopy of a valid identification document
  • photocopy of your tax identification number (codice fiscale).

 

Photo technical details

The photo size must be 35x40mm. You must use photo for documents (as identification document or driving licence) that shows your face on a plain background. The photo must be in bitmap or jpeg format with a resolution at least of 300x400 pixel at least.

 

Not admitted photo

  • panoramic photo, taken from distance, with backs turned or where the face is only partially visible
  • photo with you and another person together
  • drawing or caricature
  • photo of another person

 

4) Print out the matriculation application form and the MAV slip for the payment of the tuition fees.

 

5) Pay the first instalment of the tuition fees within the deadline foreseen by the announcement of competition.

The payment must be done compulsorily within 4 p.m. of the deadline (otherwise you lose the place); after this expiration hour the payment will be dated as the following day, therefore after the allowed deadline of the confirmation of the matriculation. In fact, the confirmation of the place is done by the payment of the tuition fees within the foreseen deadline.

 

6) Upload the following documents within the deadlines foreseen by each announcement of competition:

  • matriculation application form, duly filled in and signed
  • receipt of the tuition fees payment
  • vaccine certificate and proof certificate of tubercolin test (Mantoux test). In case you do not hold such certificates at the time of matriculation, you will be asked to bind yourself by signing an affidavit (available on the modulistica set of forms section - Italian version -) to submit these documents to the students' office no later than 30 days after matriculation. 
    To upload the documents log in to your MyUniTO area, then under the menu Iscrizioni (Enrolment) select the item Allegati carriera (Attachments).

 

7) Collect your smart card: if you do not have the smart card issued by the University of Torino yet, you will receive the collecting details by email at the student's email address assigned to you at the time of matriculation.

If you already hold a smart card and you have to update it, make an appointment with the Smart Card Studenti Office. You will find the instructions and contacts on the relative webpage (Italian version).

If you do not collect your smart card within 3 months after matriculation you will be not able to access the  University's online services (such as drawing up the career plan, signing up for exams, student's e-mail and WiFi access etc). 

Modalities for matriculation for NON-EU students residing abroad "assegnati" or "prenotati" at UniTO (Medicine and Surgery - English version)

(For one-long cycle degree programmes like Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Orthodontics, Veterinary Medicine)

 

  • Applicants NON-EU citizens residing abroad in status “assegnato” to one course at the University of Torino must not carry out the registration to the Portal, but they will receive copy of payment receipt via e-mail from the Sportello Studenti Internazionali (International Students Office).
  • Payment must be made within the deadline foreseen by the announcement of competition and the relative receipt must be sent to Sportello Studenti Internazionali (International Students Office) within the same deadline.
  • Documentation to be submitted to Sportello Studenti Internazionali (International Students Office) as follow: original copy of the upper school leaving qualification, obtained after at least 12 years of education, that enables to study at University of the issuing country and that allows the access in a similar course in Italy; translated and legalized (if foreseen), along with the dichiarazione di valore (declaration of equal value), issued by the Italian Embassy or Consulate, where the qualification was obtained
International Students

Applicants, holding a valid qualification obtained abroad, who are Ammessi to one course of the University of Turin must access the online procedure, fill in the required data and go to Mobility and International Didactics Office- Sportello Studenti Internazionali to get the relating MAV and handing out the following documentation within and no later than the above-mentioned deadlines:

  • non-EU citizens, residing abroad: original copy of your upper school leaving qualification, obtained after at least 12 years of education, that enables to study at University of the issuing country; translated and legalized (if foreseen), along with the dichiarazione di valore (declaration of equal value), issued by the Italian Embassy or Consulate, where the qualification was obtained;
  • EU-citizens and non-EU citizens legally residing in Italy: authenticated copy of your upper school leaving qualification, obtained after at least 12 years of education, that enables to study at University in the country of issueing; translated and legalized (if foreseen), along with one of the following declarations within and no later than the above-mentioned deadlines:
    • Declaration of equal value (dichiarazione di valore), issued at the Italiana Embassy or Consulate, where the qualification was obtained;
    • Statement of comparability issued at ENIC-NARIC centres (if available)

      If you can not go personally to the office, applicants holding a valid qualification obtained abroad, can delegate another person by a written proxy, along with the photocopy of an identity document of the delegate and the delegator and photocopy of the tax identification number (codice fiscale) of the delegator.
