Transfers and changes for international students
Transfers from foreign universities are not allowed.
The only programmes that admit students from foreign universities are Medicine and Surgery (English and Italian version), Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, Veterinary Medicine and other health professions courses.
To transfer to these programmes, you must participate in a specific call for admission published once a year on the webpage of the each degree course. For more information, please contact [email protected].
Transfers from other Italian universities are allowed
If you hold a foreign qualification, you are enrolled at an Italian university and wish to transfer to the University of Turin, you are exempt from the application procedure for international students.
If you are a non-EU student resident in Italy with a residence permit for study, you must not give up your studies at your current university before transferring, or you will no longer be entitled to continue your studies in Italy.
If you wish to transfer from another Italian university or to transfer within UniTo for an undergraduate degree course, please follow the instructions given in the preceding paragraphs. The reference office for this type of transfer is the Student registry office of the degree course you are interested in.
If you wish to transfer from another Italian university or make a change within UniTo for a postgraduate degree, send to [email protected] an email with attached self-certification certifying
your enrollment in another university issued by your university (transfer only) and your study documentation.
The International Student office will send your documentation to the relevant teaching committee for verification of the possession of the curricular requirements and adequate personal preparation necessary for admission.
If your postgraduate degree includes an entrance test (courses with a quota of places), you will have to take it according to the indications given in the relevant admission notice. Please consult the course web page for more information about the test.
