Enrolment in 5- or 6-year postgraduate degree in Medicine and Surgery (in English)

Information for enrolling on the 6-year postgraduate degree in Medicine and Surgery (course held in English).

 

EU and non-EU candidates residing in Italy

Those who are currently enrolled in the Medicine and Surgery filter semester must first contact the Student Registry Office via Help Desk to close this registration.

 

Non-EU candidates residing abroad

To check the results of your test:

  • log in MyUniTo
  • select the item "Iscrizioni" (Enrolment) and then "Pre-iscrizione ai corsi ad accesso programmato"(Pre-enrolment in a degree with a restricted number of places)

If you are admitted, fill in the enrolment form from your MyUniTo account by following the tutorial no later than 4 (four) days after the ranking list is published, excluding Saturdays and public holidays, and no later than 3 p.m. (after that time, you will no longer be able to access the online procedure).

Remember also to attach the documents required at point 8.

1. Consult the ministerial decrees

Definition of the procedures and contents of the admission test for 5- or 6-year postgraduate degrees in Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Orthodontics, and Veterinary Medicine in English – academic year 2025-2026, as well as the places available for admission to these courses.

2. Read the call for admission

The call for admission to the 6-year post-graduate in Medicine and Surgery - Medicine and Surgery in English (Class LM-41) has been published in the online register with decree n° 3980 of 30th July 2025 - Department of Clinical and Biological Sciences, Orbassano (TO) - academic year 2025-2026.

3. Register and take the admission test

The admission test took place on 17th September 2025 at Italian universities and at the foreign locations indicated in Table A attached to Ministerial Decree n° 599 of 7th  August 2025.

 

Registration for the test were from 26th August 2025 and closed at 3 p.m. (GMT+2) on 9th September 2025, exclusively online through the Universitaly portal (www.universitaly.it).

 

Registration is completed after payment of the test fee according to the procedures indicated on the Universitaly portal.

 

When registering for the test, candidates must indicate, in order of preference, the locations and courses for which they want to compete. These preferences are ultimate and cannot be changed after 3:00 p.m. (GMT + 2) on 9th September 2025: in any case, the last “confirmation” expressed by the candidate within this deadline will be considered valid.

 

On 13th October 2025, the national classification rankings are published in the student area of the Universitaly portal.

4. Register on the UniTo portal

To enrol on the course, you must register on the UniTo portal (if you are accessing it for the first time). To do so, you need SPID credentials, which you can obtain, if you do not already have, by following the instructions on the SPID website (obtaining SPID is not immediate, so we remind you to do it as soon as possible).

 

Registering on the portal is the first necessary and mandatory step to complete the pre-enrolment and following enrolment.

 

To register on the UniTo portal, follow the procedure on the page:

5. Pre-enrol

Log in to your MyUniTo account and pre-enrol by following the path: Enrolment > Pre-enrolment for courses with limited quota of places and select the competition ‘6-year postgraduate degree in Medicine and Surgery - reserved to EU and non-EU candidates residing in Italy’.

6. Enrol in the course

If your status on the Universitaly portal is “Assigned” or “Booked” and you want to complete your enrolment at the University of Turin, fill in the enrolment form from your MyUniTo account by following the path: ‘Enrolment>> Enrolment’ no later than 4 (four) days after the ranking list is published, excluding Saturdays and public holidays, and no later than 3 p.m. (after that time, you will no longer be able to access the online procedure).

 

When completing the form, you will need to upload the following documents:

  • a passport photo, which will be used to print your university smart card
  • a copy of a valid identity document
  • a copy of your tax code.

 

Print the enrolment form

Once you have completed the online form, print the enrolment form out.

 

  • Candidates with the status “Assigned” who do not confirm their enrolment within the established deadlines will be removed from the ranking list.
  • Candidates with “Booked” status who do not confirm their enrolment will not be removed from the ranking list and may wait for following changes to the ranking list. On the other hand, if the “booked” candidate enrols, all other preferences expressed will be automatically cancelled.
7. Pay the first instalment by the deadline

Pay the first instalment: from MyUniTo, follow the path ‘Enrolment / Enrolment / View payments’ to find the payment notice with the deadline.

 

Enrolment will be completed along with the payment of the first instalment of the university fee: payment must be made out by the deadline.

 

Payment made out after the deadline, for any reason, will result as loss of the right to a place.

8. Attach the documents

From MyUniTo, select "Allegati carriera" from the “Enrolment” menu and attach the following documents by the deadline:

  • enrolment application form, completed and duly signed in
  • receipt for payment of the first instalment of the university fee
  • a copy of the vaccine certificate, duly legalised (if required*) and officially translated into Italian, except for documentation issued in English (unless otherwise specified, the vaccination certificate must include the vaccinations that are compulsory in Italy: polio, diphtheria, tetanus, hepatitis B, measles and rubella)
  • copy of the certificate relating to the Mantoux tuberculin test, to be carried out at the local health authority (ASL) of residence or at the competent health offices of the countries of residence or, alternatively, the report of a lymphocyte stimulation test/QuantiferonTM.

 

*For countries that have signed the Hague Convention of 5th October 1961 abolishing the legalisation of foreign public documents, the need to legalise documents issued by foreign authorities is replaced by another formality: the affixing of an “apostille”.

 

If, at the time of completing the enrolment, the person admitted to the first year of the course is not holding this documentation yet, they must attach to the online procedure an affidavit stating their commitment to make the required documentation available by submitting it in the online procedure or sending it through the help desk service, within 30 days of enrolment, to the relevant Student Registry Office (Polo Medicina Torino – C.so Massimo d’Azeglio, 60 – 10126 Torino).
