Italian Language Certificates
When you arrive in Turin and during your stay in Piedmont, it is possible to get one of the following Italian Language Certificates:
CILS is a general Italian certificate assessing the level of competence the student reached in Italian language. The certificate is awarded by the Università per Stranieri di Siena and it is legally recognized as an official certification of linguistic communicative competence.
CELI is a general Italian certificate assessing language knowledge and skills that can be useful for working and studying in Italy and it is officially recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research MIUR.
According to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), CELI is divided into 6 levels, and there are three exam sessions each year in March, June and November.
