Special Supplementary Fund for Research (FISR)

The Ministry of University and Research (MUR) released a call for research project proposals, which closed in June 2020. The call was funded by the Special Supplementary Fund for Research (FISR) and aimed to select proposals of significant strategic importance to address the emerging needs and challenges posed by the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and the Covid-19 infection.
The University of Turin participated in the initiative as follows:
Total funding secured: €507,046.11
Number of projects funded: 16, with 9 of them being led by the University of Turin.
The call for proposals for the Special Supplementary Fund for Research (FISR), which was published by the Ministry of University and Research (MUR) on 18/06/2019, targeted public legal entities involved in scientific and technological research, including universities and research institutions.
Its aim was to select research projects of significant strategic relevance in line with the National Research Program 2015-2020, specifically focused on the thematic areas outlined in the PNR 2015-2020:

The allocated funding for this initiative amounted to €27,820,690.00.
