Research projects of relevant national interest (PRIN)

The PRIN program (Research Projects of National Relevant Interest) aims to secure funding for public research projects. Its primary objective is to promote the strengthening of national scientific foundations and facilitate greater engagement in initiatives linked to the European Union Framework Programs.

To achieve this goal, the PRIN program provides financial support for projects that, by their very complexity and nature, necessitate the collaboration of multiple professors or researchers. These projects often require funding beyond what individual institutions can typically provide.
