On Monday, March 31st and Tuesday, April 1st, 2025, at Campus Luigi Einaudi (Lungo Dora Siena 100/A, Turin), the conference "Young People Shaping the Future: Crisis, Participation and Renewal in the Contemporary World" will take place to mark the 10th anniversary of the MU.S.I.C. Observatory. The event will focus on the role of new generations in contemporary society.

 

The conference will feature plenary sessions and thematic panels, with contributions from Italian and international experts on topics such as youth mobilization, precarity, identity, and social innovation. The first day will be held in English, while the second day will be in Italian.

 

The event is organized by Paola Maria Torrioni (University of Turin) with the support of an international scientific committee, including Alessandra Polidori (Université de Neuchâtel; LAP-EHESS), Giulia Salzano (University of Perugia), Linda Scali (UniTo), Paola Maria Torrioni (UniTo), and Anna Micol Tropeano (UniTo; UniRoma1).
