The replacement of seats is the process of moving down the ranking list.
The expression of interest indicates your intention to remain on the ranking list in the event that you are classified as “Not Admitted.” If you do not express this intention, your position will be removed in the next update of the ranking list, and you will lose the opportunity to enroll.
The replacement phase (for those admitted) and the expression of interest (for those not admitted) occur simultaneously.
*If, at the end of the final replacement, places are still available and there are candidates with “Not Admitted” status, the form titled: “Further Ranking Review (if places are available and there are non-admitted candidates)” through which it will be possible to submit a request for the assignment of remaining places.
**If, at the end of the final replacement, places are still available and there are no candidates with “Non-Admitted” status, candidates with “Cancelled” status (with the exception of those cancelled due to administrative irregularities). In this case, the form titled: “Possible readmission of students (if places are available and there are no not-admitted applicants)” will be active, through which it will be possible to submit a request for the assignment of remaining places.
The forms will be available only during the periods indicated in the calendar, provided that the specified conditions are met.
The Administration manages the rankings and the replacement of places, updating them in accordance with the number of places announced in the call for applications. Updates of the ranking lists exclude a certain number of places, for reasons of expediency and to allow the verification of the accuracy of the registration procedures.
These positions will be offered on a regular basis by the closing date of the replacement process or once all available positions have been filled.
Enrolment will be finalized upon payment of the first instalment of the university tuition fee, which must be made no later than the specified deadline to avoid losing the right to the position. Payments must be made using the PagoPA online platform.
What to do if you are admitted to a course or venue of greater interest
If you have already completed your enrolment on a course and, following updates to the ranking lists, you are shown as ‘Admitted’ to a course or venue of greater interest, you must change the course. Please consult the page Please consult the page Change to a degree course with a quota of places.
The calls for admission provide you with all the information you need to enrol in the first year of degree courses with a restricted number of places: read it thoroughly and carefully.
In order to enrol for the degree course in Business & Management, Economics and Finance with Data Science, which requires you to take the mandatory test in English language known as the SAT, you must:
- consult the College Board's portal, where you will find all the information about the knowledge required by the test, the application procedure, the costs and the modalities for sitting the test. The SAT tests are valid from 2nd January 2025 and up to the deadline indicated in the "Meet deadlines" section
- take the SAT before enrolling; you can also take it before obtaining your secondary school leaving certificate.
You can also take the SAT more than once, but the score of the last test taken (and not the one with the best result) will be taken into consideration for the purposes of drawing up the ranking.
When you take the test, you must indicate the code 9136 - University of Turin for the digital submission of the Official SAT Score Report.
In order to enrol for degree courses that require compulsory taking of the TOLC you must:
- register on the CISIA portal
- register for the TOLC related to the courses of interest
- take on the chosen dates and location.
For enrolment in the TOLC there is a fee of 35€ to be paid to CISIA. TOLCs taken from 2nd January 2025 and up to the deadline indicated in the ‘Meet the deadlines’ paragraph are valid, in both modes of delivery: TOLC at the University (in-person) or TOLC@CASA (remotely).
The TOLC can also be taken on dates organised by other universities.
The University of Turin only delivers TOLC@CASA (remotely).
You must take the TOLC before enrolling and you can also take it before obtaining your secondary school leaving certificate.
You can take the same TOLC several times, but no more than once a month.
If you take the TOLC more than once, the score of the last test taken (and not the one with the best result) will be taken into account for enrolment purposes.
You can take TOLCs of different types, even within the same month.
Once you have finalised your enrolment, scores obtained in TOLCs taken subsequently will no longer be taken into account.
To find out the dates, please consult the test calendar on the CISIA website. The calendar is constantly being updated.
You can register subject to availability.
Please, do not wait until the last minute, but take the TOLC for the courses you are interested in as soon as possible!
Before or after taking the test SAT / TOLC, you must register on the UniTo portal (if you are accessing for the first time) in order to proceed with your course registration. To do so, you must have SPID credentials, which you can obtain, if you do not already have them, by following the directions on the SPID website (obtaining SPID is not immediate, so we recommend that you do so as soon as possible).
Registration on the portal is the first necessary and mandatory step to complete the pre-registration and subsequent enrollment process.
By the deadlines indicated in the “Meet the deadlines” section, you must pre-enroll for the course of your choice.
Log in your MyUniTo and make the pre-enrollment by following the path: “Enrollment / Pre-enrollment to scheduled access courses,” selecting the course corresponding to the TOLC or SAT taken.
The pre-enrollment must necessarily correspond to the test taken. It is not possible to enroll in a course for which the required test (SAT or TOLC area indicated) has not been taken and the correct pre-enrollment has not been done by the deadlines.
In fact, pre-registration is an administrative procedure necessary to be able to enter the ranking of the courses of interest and for which you have taken the test.
Only for degree courses requiring the SAT, you must enter the email address used to create your College Board account and your College Board ID during the pre-registration phase.
