26th Rowing Regatta

The 26th Rowing Regatta, a challenge between Turin's universities on the banks of the river Po, takes place on Friday 6 October 2023 from 4 p.m. onwards.
Programme
- 5:00 p.m. blessing of the boats at the Rectorate of UniTo (via Verdi 8, Torino), organised by the university pastoral team
- 5.20 p.m. boat parade along Via Verdi towards Murazzi
- 6:00 p.m. XXVI Rowing Regatta
- to follow, prize-giving and rowing's after party, DJ set @porto urbano
The first challenge on the Po River is the women's 4 pair at 6:00 p.m., followed by the men's 8+. There are three races for the crews over a distance of 400 metres (from Ponte Vittorio Emanuele I - Piazza Vittorio Veneto, to Ponte Umberto I - Corso Vittorio Emanuele II). The three races are all held against the current. Victory is awarded to the person who obtains the best placings in the three heats.
