On the occasion of the centenary of Maria Callas' birth, the University of Turin, with UniVerso, and with CRAD, in collaboration with the Fondazione Teatro Regio promotes from 17th to 20th December 2023 at the Teatro Regio, the international study conference "Maria Callas at 100: Opera, Celebrity, Myth", at the conclusion of the initiatives proposed within the UniVerso/ Maria Callas Icon project.

The conference languages are Italian and English. Those wishing to take part are invited to send a proposal in the language chosen for the speech to [email protected], containing an abstract (max 2000 characters/ 250 words) and their own biography/presentation (max 500 characters/100 words).

Proposals from young scholars are welcome.

Deadline for submission of proposals: 30th June 2023.
Communication of results to proposers: 20th July 2023.

There is no registration fee for participation in the conference.
