On Thursday 11th May, 2023 at 4:30 p.m. Fabrizio Bardelli will hold a seminar on The mineral form of iron in the asbestos bodies. The event is organized by "Giovanni Scansetti" Interdepartmental Centre for Studies on Asbestos and Other Toxic Particulates.

Fabrizio Bardelli works at the Institute of Nanotechnology (CNR-Nanotec) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR). He deals with Environmental Pollution, Medical Geology, and Materials Science and he has expertise in synchrotron radiation based spectroscopic, imaging, and diffraction techniques. He is currently involved in a project aimed to reveal composition and formation mechanism of asbestos bodies in human lungs.
