On Tuesday 17th January 2023, at 1:00 p.m., Prof. Pavel Kabat will hold the seminar "21st century – the Age of Biology: the International Human Frontier Science Program Organization and opportunities for enhanced collaboration with Italy" at the Aristotele Hall - Molecula Biotechnology Center "Guido Tarone" (via Nizza 52, Torino).

Trained as a mathematician and hydrologist Professor Kabat has worked in the field of earth system sciences since the early 1980s, with a focus on transdisciplinary approaches, land-atmosphere interactions and biogeochemical feedbacks. He was recently appointed Secretary General of the International Human Frontier Science Program Organization (HFSPO), which was established back in 1989 by the G7 nations to advance international research and training at the frontier of the life sciences.
