CIMEA Survey: Student awareness on fraud in education
The Information Centre on Academic Mobility and Equivalence (CIMEA) has carried out a survey to evaluate student awareness on fraud in education.
The questionnaire is developed in the framework of the Erasmus+ project "FraudS+: False Records, Altered Diploma and Diploma Mills Qualifications Collection" (2020-2022) and the results collected will be analysed within the project.
The objectives of the survey are:
- to analyse the knowledge of the phenomenon of fraud in education among students
- to raise students’ awareness on the phenomenon, also strengthening their ability to deal with it
- to design useful tools for the promotion of ethics and transparency in education.
Student participation is essential to plan a successful strategy, together with policy makers, higher education institutions and relevant stakeholders, involved in the dialogue on the issue of fraud in education.
Target groups:
- students in higher education;
- students attending the last year of upper secondary education;
- student unions.
