Workshop: EMPIR Call 2017 "Fundamental Metrology"

On 2nd December 2016, the Istituto Nazionale di Ricerca Metrologica (INRIM) is organising a Workshop to present the Call 2017 "Fundamental Metrology" of the European Metrology Programme for Innovation and Research (EMPIR). The event will take place in Strada delle Cacce 91, Torino.

Participants are asked to propose projects in the following research areas:

1. Quantum enhanced SI standards
2. Fundamental metrology on the single photon / single atom / single molecule level
3. Basic research on the interaction between light and matter, on novel materials, and on new structures
4. New optical clocks
5. Metrology for space science and technology
6. Parallel meetings will take place during the day to examine the proposals.
