Staff webmail service
The e-mail service for University staff has been upgraded to the Google Apps for Education service.
- Unlimited space on the new mailbox. As of 30/09/2024, each user will have 100 GB of space on their Google account. This space is shared between mail, documents, etc. Organisational accounts and shared drives (formerly Team Drive) are not subject to space limitations
- integration with online collaboration services such as Drive (for storing and sharing files) and Calendar (for sharing appointments)
- better integration of the e-mail service with smartphones and tablets (see manual for configuration)
- integration with the mailing-list service called Google Groups, accessible directly from the mail interface.
To access the mail service, it is necessary to authenticate with the SCU credentials already in use for the other online services of the University portal.
