Lecture and panel discussion: US Political and Economic Perspectives on Ukraine and Southeastern Europe

The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures and Modern Cultures of the University of Turin, in collaboration with the United States Diplomatic Mission to Italy, organises a lecture and panel discussion with Kathleen A. Doherty, Deputy Chief of Mission, U.S. Embassy to Italy, on "US Political and Economic Perspectives on Ukraine and Southeastern Europe".

 

The event wil take place on Wednesday 27th May 2015 (11 am) at Sala Lauree - Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures and Modern Cultures (via Verdi 10, Turin - 2nd floor).

 

Kathleen Doherty is a member of the Senior Foreign Service, class of Minister-Counselor, since September 2013. She previously served for two years as Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs where she had responsibility for managing relations with the European Union and Western Europe. Ms Doherty has been awarded several Senior Performance Pay, Superior and Meritorious Honor awards. She also received the State Department’s Rockwell Schnable Award in 2013, for “Transforming U.S.-EU Policy Coordination.”
