Starting grant on Research for the Hub Circular Economy and Environment – Deadline 12th May 2025

The UNITA Alliance issued the call for Starting Grants on Research to strengthen collaboration between UNITA partners through the implementation of new projects or the consolidation of existing projects.

This call follows the circular Economy and environment Hub matching events, held in March 2025 at the West University of Timisoara and January 2025 at the University of Zaragoza.

The projects must be submitted by teaching staff or researchers from at least three different university partners of the UNITA Alliance and should include in the working group post-docs and PhD candidates.

The duration of a project is up to 12 months.

Proposals are accepted in all possible variants and declinations of one of the following subjects:

• Social, economic and legal challenges for environmental sustainability and circular economy

• Technical and innovative solutions for environmental sustainability and circular economy 

Multidisciplinary projects are particularly welcome.

Each applicant (whatever his/her status) may only participate in one of the subjects and within it in only one project.

The application deadline is May 12th 2025, at 11:59 p.m. (CET).

An information webinar will also be held on Friday 11th April 2025 at 10:00 a.m. (CET).
