UNITA photo contest
The UNITA photo contests are an opportunity to raise awareness among the Alliance’s academic community—including students, faculty, researchers and administrative and technical staff—on key topics for UNITA, such as European identity and citizenship and major environmental challenges.
Through these annual contests, open to all members of the Alliance’s universities, UNITA invites participants to reflect on and creatively portray cultural diversity, shared heritage and the transformations shaping Europe's sustainable future. The selected images will be showcased in exhibitions, publications and promotional initiatives.
The UNITA Photo Contest 2025 was addressed to students, faculty, researchers and administrative and technical staff from the Alliance’s partner universities.
Participants had to submit either a single image or a photographic essay (a series of up to seven images). A panel of experts evaluated submissions based on artistic relevance and thematic coherence.
The winning photograph received a €150 prize and the selected images were featured in exhibitions, publications and UNITA promotional initiatives.
