W(h)ither the West?

W(h)ither the West? is a symposium in partnership between T.wai – Torino World Affairs institute and LSE IDEAS, and in cooperation with the Department of Cultures, Politics and Society of the University of Turin. The event will take place on Monday 23rd May 2022, 9:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. CET at Campus Luigi Einaudi - Sala Lauree Grande Blu (Lungo Dora Siena, 100 A - Torino).

The title has been at the suggestion of one of our speakers, Professor Richard Higgott, citing its ability to capture the question of the destiny of the West, and its possible shrinkage as the US and Europe possibly drift away from each other.

Speakers will include some prestigious international guests and the language of reference will be English.
