Takaaki Kajita, winner of the Nobel Prize for Physics in 2015, at the University of Turin

On Monday 2nd July 2018 ,Takaaki Kajita, winner of the Nobel Prize for Physics in 2015, holds a conference on the secrets of neutrinos at the Main Hall of the Cavallerizza Reale.

 

Takaaki Kajita is a Japanese physicist who was awarded the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physics for discovering the oscillations of neutrinos from one flavour to another, which proved that those subatomic particles have mass. He shared the prize with Canadian physicist Arthur B. McDonald.
