Pompeiana Fragmenta: Knowing and preserving (at) Pompei

Starting from Wednesday, November 14th, 2018 the Department of Historical Studies of the University of Turin organizes the exhibition "Pompeiana Fragmenta: Knowing and preserving (at) Pompei" at Centro Conservazione e Restauro "La Venaria Reale" (Piazza della Repubblica, 4 - Venaria).

The exhibition, open until Friday 21st December 2018, is set up in collaboration with the Pompeii Archaeological Park .

An exciting journey to the heart of scientific research and activities that for some years have involved the University of Turin and CCR, both with interventions at the Domus della Caccia antico, and with operations of study, diagnostics and restoration on various artifacts.

The visits, strictly accompanied by "insiders" who took part in the research and the preparation of the exhibition, are a unique opportunity for dialogue and comparison with archaeologists and restorers, a unique opportunity to enter "the heart of research".

The guided tour, organized by the Department of Historical Studiesof the University of Turin, lasts one and a half hours.
