Seminars

From Thursday 11 March 2021 at 4:00pm, to Monday 22 March 2021 at 4:00pm

The first two seminars of the series entitled "People and Sovereignty" will take place on the 10th and 22nd of March 2021 and will host academics from the University of Turin, Collegio Carlo Alberto, Chicago University (prof. Eric Santner) and Columbia University (prof. Saskia Sassen).

This initiative was born from the scientific collaboration between the doctoral school in "Rights and Institutions" of the Department of Law of the University of Turin and the Collegio Carlo Alberto Foundation. It aims to stimulate reflection in a multidisciplinary way on how the concept and content of sovereignty have changed, furthering the investigation of the relationship between state sovereignty and people's mobility.
