"More hydrogen for everyone!" - UniTO webinar within Techshare Day Digital 2021

The TechShare Day Digital 2021 will take place from Wednesday 5th to Friday 7th May 2021. A completely free and digital event that connects the world of public research with that of companies, investors and innovators.
This 2021 edition will focus on Environmentally Sound Technologies, showcasing innovations that can significantly address current sustainability challenges.

Among the scheduled events, on Friday 7th May 2021 at 10:00 a.m. the webinar "More hydrogen for everyone!" will see the University of Turin as the protagonist, with opinion leader Prof. Marcello Baricco from the Department of Chemistry.

Among the technologies that may contribute to the replacement integration of fossil fuels in the coming years, hydrogen is certainly emerging as one of the most promising solutions. Our country wants to focus on this approach and has all the capabilities (scientific, economic and industrial) to contribute substantially to the development of these technologies. This webinar aims to promote information and awareness on emerging hydrogen-based technologies.

The webinar will involve H2IT, "Associazione Italiana Idrogeno e Celle a Combustibile", which brings together the most important Italian companies and research centers dealing with the hydrogen sector. The intervention by experts in the field of production (e.g. electrolysers), logistics (e.g. distribution and storage), use in transport (cars, trucks, trains, ships) and for uses is foreseen industrial (renewable energy storage, steel mill, etc.).
