From Monday 24th to Sunday 30th June 2019, Turin hosts the Italian Tech Week, a busy program of events that brings together Italian and European excellences in the city committed to building the future of business and society.
The initiatives, all free and with different methods of access and participation, include conferences, workshops, meetings with innovative entrepreneurs, moments of confrontation, start-up and scale-up presentations, display of advanced technologies, seminars for students and professionals, debates with the protagonists of the global tech entrepreneurship scene and workshops for children (as part of the Estate Ragazzi program).
In particular, on Tuesday 25th June 2019 the Polytechnic University of Turin and the University of Turin organize Techshare Day 2019, in which researchers and inventors from Italian universities and research centers expose their patents and technologies, and compare themselves with companies, investors and general public. In addition, large industrial groups intervene to talk about their open innovation experiences, with vertical insights on Energy, Mobility and Aerospace (PoliTo), as well as on Health, Food and the Environment (UniTO).
On the same day, 2i3T, the business incubator of the University of Turin , organizes the Research, Start up and IP Strategies meeting at 2i3T - Molecular Biotechnology Center, to explore the issue of intellectual property management from Research to enhance the intangible asset in a start-up, through practical cases accompanied by testimonials from entrepreneurs, researchers and professionals.
