The EU Green Week initiative will take place on 11th June 2023 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.. The purpose of this event is to learn about two initiatives based on the principles of the New European Bauhaus (NEB) in Turin.

The event will take place at two green locations: the urban garden "Orto alla SME" at the Department of Management of the University of Turin (Corso Unione Sovietica, 218 bis Torino) and Cascina Falchera (Strada Cuorgnè, 109 Torino) with the urban farm project Desire. This will be an opportunity to participate in NEB's active citizenship projects, celebrate our progress and ignite stronger actions towards a sustainable and inclusive future.

In line with the Year of Skills promoted by the European Commission, the event will focus on the theme "Skills for Sustainable, Resilient, Inclusive and Socially Just Communities". Equipping students, citizens, communities and organizations with the necessary knowledge and skills can protect, preserve and restore our environment for present and future generations, while promoting sustainable development.
