Further details

It is a case competition between different European Universities working on sustainable solutions for the food industry, called to respond to different food challenges:

  • EcoBite Delights: revolutionize the world of sustainable and budget-friendly bakery and patisserie delights, tailored for healthy diets and special diets (e.g. vegans)
  • ZeroWaste Design: redefine the concept of food packaging by envisioning a world where nothing is wasted, neither the food itself nor its packaging.

The programme lasts 8 months (April-November) and involves the creation of multidisciplinary teams of 5 to 8 members sharing common interests and a project idea to be transformed into a business idea with the support of experienced academic mentors and managers from international food industry companies throughout the duration of the programme.

Participants have the opportunity to access asynchronous learning sessions and attend 4 live workshops on innovation and entrepreneurship.

In the final pitch event in November 2024, each team will present their business idea in front of a jury of industry experts.
