Crisis of constitutional democracy and the rule of law in Europe: instruments of protection at the national level and in the European Union legal system

The University of Turin organizes a seminar on the Crisis of constitutional democracy and the rule of law in Europe: instruments of protection at the national level and in the European Union legal system. The event takes place online on November 17th, 2022 at 9:00 a.m.

The seminar focuses on the gradual weakening of pivotal principles of democratic constitutionalism and the rule of law in some member countries of the European Union, analyzing the tools that can be used to stem or counter this trend. The papers address the topic both from the perspective of domestic legal systems - focusing on the most significant experiences in this regard - and with reference to the European Union legal system.

To participate online, it is mandatory to register by November 16th, 2022 at 12 p.m. (CET). Participants will receive the webex link the day before.

The seminar will be held in Italian and will not entitle participants to CFUs.
