Conference: "Grid cells, space and memory"

The Academy of Sciences is organising a conference on Grid cells, space, and memory by May-Britt Moser on Wednesday 2nd May 2018 at Sala dei Mappamondi (via Accademia delle Scienze 6, Turin).

 

May-Britt Moser and her then-husband, Edvard Moser, shared half of the 2014 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, awarded for work concerning the grid cells in the entorhinal cortex, as well as several additional space-representing cell types in the same circuit that make up the positioning system in the brain.

 

English is the official language of the conference. There will be simultaneous translation into Italian.
