25th Rowing Regatta 2022

The Rowing Regatta, the famous boat race between the University of Turin and the Politecnico of Turin, is back on October 7th, 2022, for its 25th edition.

The event starts at 5:00 p.m. at the Rectorate of the University of Turin (via Verdi 8, Turin) with the traditional blessing of the boats. Teams will then parade along Via Po towards the race location at Murazzi on the river Po.

This year's special guest is the crew of ESCP Business School.

The 2021 edition saw the crew of the Politecnico di Torino triumph in the women's race over the University of Turin. In the men's one, success went to the UniTo crew over PoliTo, thus bringing the event's roll of honor on the score of 14 to 10, in favor of the University.
 

Also in September, an agreement was signed between FIC, the Italian Rowing Federation, and CUS Torino. Thus, the University Sports Center of Turin was also included among the Italian clubs named "College Remiero".  The agreement has as its principle the protection of university students/athletes and the development of continuing education and scientific research activities. It is therefore a specific sports qualification program shared between CUS Torino and FIC.
