Contribution for enrolment in degrees following the filter semester

Those who are enrolled in the filter semester of the postgraduate degrees in Medicine and Surgery, Veterinary Medicine and Dentistry and Orthodontics, for the purpose of subsequent enrolment in degrees for the academic year 2025-2026, are required to pay annual tuition fees, calculated in accordance with the provisions contained in the Contribution and Tuition Fees Regulations for the academic year 2025-2026, with the following additional specifications.

In the case of enrolment in one of the degrees referred to in Article 1, paragraph 1, of Ministerial Decree No. 418 of 2025 (Medicine and Surgery, Veterinary Medicine and Dentistry and Orthodontics) or to a degree not included among those referred to in Article 8 of Ministerial Decree No. 418 of 2025 (therefore not included in the so-called related courses), the contribution paid for enrolment in the filter semester is deducted from the full-comprehensive contribution due, up to the amount due.

If the amount paid for the filter semester exceeds the amount due as a full-comprehensive contribution, no refunds will be made for the excess amount paid

In any case, there will be no refunds for fees paid for enrolment in the filter semester at other universities if the amount paid for the filter semester exceeds the amount due as a full-comprehensive contribution at the University of Turin.

The deduction does not apply to careers that have remained regularly active due to contemporaneous enrolment during the filter semester.

In the event of enrolment in one of the related courses referred to in Article 8 of Ministerial Decree No. 418 of 2025, the single all-inclusive contribution due is reduced by 50% of the amount

In this case, the contribution paid for enrolment in the filter semester is not deducted from the full-comprehensive contribution due.

The 50% reduction does not apply to degree programmes that remained regularly active due to contemporaneous enrolment during the filter semester.

Students who have been awarded or are eligible for EDISU Piemonte scholarships for the filter semester will be reimbursed for any fees paid to the University of Turin for enrolment in the filter semester and, if enrolled in the second semester at the University of Turin, they must pay the stamp duty but are not required to pay the full-comprehensive contribution and the Regional Tax for the right to university study.

In any case, no refunds will be made for fees paid for enrolment in the filter semester at other universities.

Students who apply for the EDISU Piemonte scholarship for the second semester must pay the stamp duty but are not required to pay the full-comprehensive contribution and Regional Tax for the right to university study, pending the acquisition of the right to benefits.

If the student is not eligible for or does not win an EDISU Piemonte scholarship, the Regional Tax for the right to university study must be paid within fifteen days.

For those who enrol in degrees for the academic year 2025-2026, following enrolment in the filter semester of postgraduate degree programmes in Medicine and Surgery, Veterinary Medicine and Dentistry and Orthodontics, it is possible to submit a request for a reduction in the full-comprehensive contribution based on GDP per capita PPP or a request for the ISEE Universitario by 27th February 2026 without incurring a penalty fee.

In order to allow students to apply for part-time or full-time enrolment, the deadline for choosing between the two options has been postponed to 27th February 2026 for all students enrolled in degree programs for the academic year 2025-2026.

Exclusively for those who enrol in degree programs after 27th February and by 6th March 2026, having attended the filter semester, it will be possible to choose between part-time or full-time commitment by submitting a ticket to the relevant Students Registry Office

For those who enrol in degree programs following attendance of the filter semester, enrolment is completed upon payment of the first instalment, which must be paid within the enrolment deadlines set for the various types of degree programs by the relevant Ministerial Decrees and related annexes.
