Health and Safety

Universities, as workplaces, are required to ensure prevention and safety, as well as the protection of the health of their staff, service-users, and third parties present in any capacity on university premises, in compliance with the provisions of Legislative Decree no. 81 of 9/4/2008.

In the University, the term "workers" refers to:

  • permanent staff (teaching, research, and technical-administrative staff)
  • non-permanent staff and those of affiliated public and private entities who carry out activities at university facilities
  • university students, doctoral students, postgraduate students, interns, scholarship recipients, and people equivalent to them, when they attend teaching, research, or service laboratories and, due to the specific activity performed, are exposed to risks identified in the assessment document.
