Services to students with SLD
All UniTo students with SLD, including those enrolled at decentralized campuses, can benefit from support services. Students participating in Erasmus mobility programs (incoming) or other periods of international mobility can also benefit from these services and supports.
We can meet to get to know each other and understand how to best support you in your academic journey. You can also take part in our group meetings, which are organized at the beginning of each academic year.

List of services
Meet senior students with SLD to exchange experiences, share insights, and work on the most effective study methods at university. These peers have received specific training on study methods and have tested useful strategies in the university context, as well as gained knowledge in the use of compensatory tools and technologies
Clarification on individualized treatment, compensatory tools, and dispensatory measures, in order to facilitate dialogue between instructors and students with SLD, in compliance with current regulations and the learning objectives of each course
Strengthen your study strategies, organization skills, and compensatory tools to identify the most effective solutions suited to different exams, and learn how to create effective concept maps to improve comprehension, memorization, and overall study efficiency
- Computer workstations equipped with specific assistive tools and software, available at the Section’s facilities.
- Peer tutoring, involving the support of peer tutors for academic assistance
- Free software provision: promotion of study autonomy through the free provision of the software "ePico!", specifically designed for people with SLD. It can support you in creating materials, organizing your work, and managing exam preparation time. The software, in its full version, is provided with renewable annual licenses and is compatible with the Windows operating system. Dedicated training sessions on the effective use of the software are also available upon request. For further information, please contact us.
