What Funds TOgether is
Funds TOgether is the crowdfunding program of the University of Turin dedicated to research and innovation projects.
Through online fundraising, it supports initiatives with a high social and environmental impact by engaging a broad community of supporters.
Objective
To support interdisciplinary projects by facilitating the collection of additional funds and increasing visibility, while enhancing the role of research and the University in society.
Opportunities for research teams
The initiative is aimed at teams of researchers, faculty members, and academic staff. Through Funds TOgether, they can:
- access new financial resources
- promote and disseminate their work
- connect with new supporters and partners
- develop skills in project management, fundraising, and communication.
The initiative also helps strengthen the relationship between the University and society by encouraging public engagement and support for projects of public interest.
How it works
Training
Participants take part in practical training to acquire the skills and tools needed to design and promote a crowdfunding campaign
Application and selection
At the end of the training, teams submit their project proposal and communication strategy. The proposals best suited for crowdfunding are selected
Support and launch
Selected teams are supported by professionals in defining, developing, and promoting their campaign, through to the online launch
Co-funding
Once 100% of the funding goal is reached, the University of Turin doubles the funds raised, up to a maximum of €10,000 per project
